My father inspired me to join STAR 30 years ago, but my passion for my community is why I still serve. I believe STAR's guiding principle: "Every individual's success story begins with relevant and actionable training and education."

Jayne Mathews, MS, SPHR

Ellen Murphy is one of the original owners of STAR. She offered me a job at Dataline Computers as a Computer Trainer. After launching my own business in 2020, I visited with Ellen, and she encouraged me to bring my HR and training expertise to STAR.
